To begin, two main goals were established: first, to create a name that is memorable and easy for all types of people to pronounce; secondly, to create a logo that was unique enough to stand out against competitors but not so intricate or abstract as to be difficult to work with in the long run.
Both of these goals were taken into account when developing the new name and logo, making sure that both elements were simple enough for customers to understand without much effort. The result was “Leaf & Berry Company”. It refers to both the company’s ingredients (leafy greens and berries) with a subtle nod to the vegetarian makeup of their products, making it a memorable name. The name “Leaf & Berry Co.” also suggest the idea of “belonging together”, connectedness, and provides the opportunity for growth and future ventures the company may have that may not be juice related.

The Results
The logo design uses both deep, rich tones and little pops of colour. When used on its own on things like letterheads and business cards, the deeper tones convey a level of professionalism while the bright pops of colour hint at the delight that their products create.
Leaf & Berry Co. is all about providing clients with a holistic experience, and their visual design system is the perfect embodiment of this, bringing energy and balance to the brand, while still maintaining its professional feel where needed.
The colour palette used for the logo was expanded to use colours that give the feeling of calm joy, and even a hint of whimsy.
Illustrations and fonts used for packaging and marketing elude to the level of detail the company puts into their product and reinforce the joyful feeling.
The imagery selected reflects their target market, allowing customers to feel a sense of belonging and connection to the brand while imagining themselves in the same calm, joyful environments
